Motorhome internet Maxview/Avtex???

Good day all.
Im looking at installing internet in our motorhome and torn between the maxview and avtex, we dont use the motorhome as much as we would like too but when we do its nice to have the internet. Our sat dish has recently broken so also need a tv alternative. I have a mobile contract with vodafone that gives me unlimited data,could i use this with any of these systems or would i still need to buy another sim card? Also if we was to go abroad it would be nice to be able to stream british tv. Is this possible?

We have the Motorhome WiFi system installed, it would run an existing Sim card but I didn't have one so started from scratch with a Vodafone 100gb card, I believe that unlimited data isn't unlimited abroad and is capped so this would affect TV streaming but you might need to ask Vodafone about your specific contract, you could do a lot worse than talking to the guys at Motorhome WiFi as their knowledge and advice is spot on.

You could use you phone as a hotspot, we do this whilst utilising a fire stick to watch Internet streaming TV. Only in the UK though as we get restricted data in mainland Europe due to the phone company's not having to follow Eu laws with regarding to roaming data restrictions.

Loads of information to be found on here but search separately for "wifi" and "sim card". Motorhome Wifi come highly recommended as does the Smarty SIM. Use of a Firestick will sort all your tv and media streaming needs.
