I’m sure this has been posted before but I’ll ask again
I have a Thule wind out awning
would anyone recommend the G3 fixed residence?
or a drive away awning
if drive away awning Air or Poles
are Isabella drive away awnings The best?
weight or price doesn’t come into decision
my van is a Burstner 6 metre long
thanks in advance

Air or poles??? You will get fans of either. I prefer poles.
We have a Ventura Driveaway which is the sister brand to Isabella. Excellent and very sturdy. Has been up for three full seasons now on a permanent pitch.

We have had Isabella awnings for many years and rate them highly, albeit they are expensive.

For touring we have an earlier model of this awning. Excellent.

We bought an Isabella drive away as we had always that brand with our caravans

steel poles were only option 5 years ago and it was very heavy, luckily the pole set did fit properly and we negotiated exchanging it fir a blow up

have now dumped that as well and use the Thule safari room, proper marmite subject but ours always seems popular when the gin cones out 🤔😁

Will you be in one place for long enough? I never am as I move on every two days (or three at the very most) and winding out just the canopy suits me.
