Looking for a new insurance company to go with, currently with ebike but 1,expensive and 2,they seem to be having trouble with their website for a while now.I have started getting quotes today and they are cheaper than ebike but with a very high excess, looking for about 180 days European cover.Who are you with?

Trev.

Post Office insurance, in fact they were the cheapest for the Car & VW t5 as well, £50 cheaper than bikesure

Peter James insurance. They are a bit like carol Nash before she got to big to care.

I understand peter James is a break away from footman james.

I hear Footman James like to find a reason to add £20 plus after you have paid and accepted their cheap quote and point out it costs £50 to cancel the policy.

Lots of guys in the bike club are moving across.

I use Lynbrook insurance, reasonable rates. And they insure cars and bikes, just insured my old Mercedes 190 for £113 fully comp as a classic car, my 1999 Suzuki motorcycle is also insured as a classic as well.
I have not had to call on their resources as yet thank god.

Just gone back to Bennet's, £116 fully comp 2 bikes (multy bike) 90 days in Europe any 1 trip 1 day at home and you can go back again.

Hmm. I never thought about Euro cover on my recent 7 week jaunt. I assumed it was covered in Europe.

Hmm. Now interested in this thread :)

Carole Nash. Good price, breakdown cover. Not sure of exact time of Euro cover.

Bennet's.

Good level of cover and breakdown assistance provided.

I insured my CG125 to go in the back of the van abroad fully comp £27 but only for 28 day periods???? never actually went .
I must take a picture of it in its kennel.

Another one for Peter James, one thing you Must do tho is look round every year, some people stick with one insurer and they just get ripped off, exact same policy elsewhere lot cheaper

Carol Nash cannot offer mor than 90 days in any year in Europe. Does anyone actually have a motorbike policy that covers them for longer. If so who is it with.
I am currently shopping around but getting the 90 day rule with everyone so far.

Thanks

Neil

Ended up going with Bennetts,90 days per trip but the guy told wifey that if it's in the garage (of the van) those days don't count.
