Plenty places to go, just less driving between them.Looks like the ferries go from Cadiz.
One sailing £1,350. all the rest £1,850 return.
31 hours.
Seems pointless considering the island is not very big.

There are 7 islands in the archipelago to explore. Inter-island ferries are dead easy and plentiful.Seems pointless considering the island is not very big.

Thank youWe come to Tenerife most February and we’re here now. We have researched the idea of bringing the van but as already suggested the ferry cost is too high unless you want to do a winter here. There are lots of vans here now, mostly Spanish, German and a very few British. Wild camping is a no no but there are plenty of authorised places and a few campsites which I’m told are very good. There’s plenty of info if you google it. Good Luck.

I believe there is also a ferry from the west coast of Morocco, might be cheaper and one can be out of Schengen for a while in transit.
It was, wasn't it.Helpful

Have done it twice with gb tours & had a great time. Went in January through to end of march, winter sun at its best. Yes not cheap, but what is with a motorhome?!?! Give it a try, your only here once!!!!

Brian kindly bumped the original post up to the top of the list not once, but twice.
I hope he gets an answer to his spare wheel question.
Try it, you might be surprised!!!Tell you what though - it's dead cheap without one. Cheap flights, cheap accommodation, cheap car hire. I've been many times and it's a great destination to explore (As long as you keep away from Playas de las Americas) but I don't really see the point in doing it in a motorhome.

Too many other places that I haven't been to before on my list.Try it, you might be surprised!!!
A caravan as well I seeThere are noticeably more motorhomes here that last time we came 5 years ago. Only ones then we really saw were at the aire in los Christianos.
We are in Puerto do la Cruz. Loads in the seafront car park
