MOT Expiry date extension.

Well at last it has happened; my MOT expiry was extended today from 31st July 2020 till 31st Jan 2021.

I doubt whether that was done by a physical employee on a Saturday, so I assume it was computer-generated. Since they announced that all MOTs due until the end of July would be extended, why did they not programme the computer accordingly weeks ago - would have saved many of us checking daily.

because they didn’t know what was happening they Could have extended it further if we had more cases

Does appear a bit ramdom my Motorhome due in April can up with the new date 2 weeks before due date, car due in July only came up with the new date about 4 days before due.
