Hi
We are off to Morocco in late January and want to protect my gas system from any dirty/oily Moroccan gas as far as I can.
My cunning plan was to fit a filter inline with a Moroccan gas bottle and regulator and then to my external BBQ point. I have a Truma AS99 Gas Filter for this purpose.

Trying to get fittings that would enable me to connect the filter to a hose each side has been impossible. (I have spoken to Marcle Leisure, GasIt and Autogas 2000 so far).
The first 2 were unable to help at all but I was advised by the gallant chaps at Autogas 2000 to fit the filter to the Moroccan gas bottle then to the regulator and then on to my external BBQ point.

I have an inboard refillable LPG system that I am not going to disturb.

The question is: Will the fittings on the filter i.e one, M20 x 1.5 external thread and one, M20 x 1.5 Union nut fit the Moroccan bottle and regulator.

I know it others have fitted such a system so would be very grateful for those with this experience to advise.

There is nothing wrong with doing this as long as all the connections are good and leak free. Which, of course, they will be.

Thanks in advance.
Best regards
Nik.
