Moreton in Marsh Pitch 92

Large sycamore tree overhanging this pitch. Pigeons love to roost there. Back of the motorhome covered with Pigeon shit after first night! Should have known there was a problem on spotting the rat bait trap at the back of the pitch - no other pitches seem to have them. Be warned!

Chances are other campers have been feeding the birds

Bait box not secured, allowing bait spill which puts non target species at risk.
The site owner, and whoever the pest controller is, are both liable to prosecution. . . . .
That should help you get your pitch fees back, as well as cleaning expenses.

Active ingredient and the name of the of contained substance is to be clearly displayed on the outside of the bait Station (THIS IS THE LAW)

I have informed the wardens who thanked me for letting them know.
They offered another pitch.
They were surprised about the rat bait box being there.
Thanks Nanniemate for the offer of directions to a local hand-wash. I will the motorhome a good clean when I get home in a couple of days. God knows what the roof is like!

Do rats/mice get attracted to birds poo? We get a lot in our garden as we have overhead wires over it where they sit and shit.
