I do love my TelmaI had a Telma Retarder on my last Concorde, it was a fantastic piece of kit and would be a must have option now.

Telma retarders are worth every Penny , drive if for a few weeks and you wouldn’t want to give it upAnd here is the IVECO daily chassis for anybody remotely interested in these things

In the foreground is the Telma retarder, a big and heavy chunk to be fair and it does force you into the 200 litre fuel tank upgrade as otherwise you end up with just 70 litres, In the distance you can see how the floor and dashboard is all raised up over the engine and gearbox to give a flat floor right through the van, this is a fair bit of work so all adds to the overall conversion cost.
I think you can still get at everything but just not as easilyAlthough I probably already know the answer, (ie, you need to be seriously financially loaded), but how are we DIY'ers supposed to service, maintain, and/or replace components, which are non accessible once the body is applied?
Cheers,
Jock.

Absolutely right Brain we are parked next to Norwegians and got back to the van last night and they commented how special the light show was, Jen said that she thought they would have better shows at home but they said “too much light pollution” so very rare to see.It shows Morelos organisational powers to give you the light show, that’s what you pay for.

A tidy job actually and I think all the black sealant must have been redone after the foil as there are no white bits showing,

Even the hinges are foiled with only a tiny bit of original paint showing,

Just a little bit of the parking, the first half closest to the pond (full of noisy frogs) is the Stellplatz that you can stop on anytime,
