Hi, we are looking to buy a m/h so I am spending lots of time trawling ebay, and to be honest I haven't alot of experience with it.

It was obvious the tomjo_2014 was dodgy - but I don't get what's wrong with these ads? Take it they're aimed at peeps like me:unsure:

Could you explain please - it'd be really appreciated

The prices are far too low.
I bet if you ask to go and look they would ask for a deposit.

    1. They are too cheap
    2. Contact almost always by email
    3. No land line, usually no mobile
    4. Not able to view
    5. Will offer to deliver
    6. Do not pay any money before viewing

Theses scams have the same description layout - all capital letters
There are at least 2 others

    Cheers.

The 1st one you listed has gone, not sure if that's a good or bad sign.

I'm amazed that people would actually try to proceed, I would be suspicious if I couldn't view beforehand.

    hi guys newby first post..
bought my van 5 wks ago.. was surfing google a few days later finding more info on it and found pics of my van for sale 5k cheaper than I had paid for it... in 3 different towns /ads in the uk
with all the pics and info taken from the original ad .

they either make money from the hundreds of phone calls generated weekly through an answering service, due to the bargain price.

or by the first time/novice/gullible buyer's placing deposits on such super bargains.

if it looks too good to be true.....it usually is..

    buyer beware.
