Can anyone recommend a campsite in Montenegro, suitable for 7.5 metre van, walking distance to dog friendly beach, shops and restaurants please

Yes I had my 2 Jack Russell's with me no problem

After leaving there turn left and you can drive the entire bay of Kotor to Kotor town itself, has to be one of the most beautiful scenic drives in the world

We didn't stay too long I think just under a week as we were travelling through to Greece but we did tour all of the Bay of Kotor and then inland to Durmitor National Park which was breathtakingly beautiful through dozens of little villages on the way, the park itself has wolves wild cats and brown bears which you wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of but an amazing sight to see in real life but unfortunately after that we headed south again into Albania which is also a very beautiful country but the roads aren't great then on into Greece but I would highly recommend Montenegro to anyone

Happy to second this suggestion, we stayed there for a couple of days when traveling back from Greece. I recall a cold stream from the mountains spills out into the bay by the campsite, go for a dip in the bay and magically swim betwixt warm and cold water.
By the way we were in a 7.5 m van towing a 4m trailer, they had a pitch we fitted on without uncoupling.

Have you checked your insurance. Not every company cover it, Nfu cover it but only third party, think LV might do comp

Just a word of warning, when we were there a few years ago it wasn't covered by EU roaming so be aware you might run up a data bill on your phone.

I would be keen to know what insurer does provide fully comp for Montenegro and Albania !

We are with Saga and they cover Bosnia, Serbia and Montenegro as standard Fully Comp but not Albania. We have an unrestricted European travel policy, SAGA Select @ £783 + £69 for European breakdown cover). Morocco is not on their list as standard but know of others who have been given cover when they enquired about a green card at no extra cost.
