Nice surprise today! Took old pair of knackered AGMs to the local recycling centre. Nice man said why don’t you take them to the nearby scrap merchants as they’re worth money. So off we went…£11.50 per battery….result!

Scrap is fetching good money at the moment, another time you can’t give it away.

Yes I always laugh if in Halfrauds! We will recycle your old battery for free. Yeah right!

I took 28 old batteries to the scrapyard.... Then took them home again....
2v 100ah emergency lighting batteries.... And because of the chemistry they refused them.
