A pal of mine here in Bulgaria has acquired this 2002 motorhome with heavy frontal damage including destroyed windscreen. Progress with repairs is good but unable to locate a replacement windscreen anywhere so far. Does anyone have any ideas on availability in UK please, new or second hand, thanks in advance.

Mike

If you can provide details of the vehicle, model etc. you might get a few more replies!

Autoglass would be a place to start but there are independent suppliers as well. Just search for windscreen replacement on this forum and see what comes up.

Thanks for that, the vehicle is per the description given, Mobilvetta Euroyacht 2002, this model had three variants but only the lengths are different, they share the same windscreen. I am hoping to find someone with experience and/or knowledge of this particular marque as they are thin on the ground now.

I have a 2001 Euroyacht - I will look for any numbers/code on the screen tomorrow

Mobilvetta themselves should be able to help - :)

Thanks for that, might prove helpful. Mobilvetta have no stock and recommended Monparebrise, waiting to hear back from them. The search continues :)

I understand annabel edwards at travelworld has gone back into selling windscreens. Perhaps a call to her might help??

I checked the markings on my screen:
ICS in a circle (manufacturer?)
Underneath E6 43R - 003084
Some of this will just refer to the type/standard but when I Googled ICS 43R the first entry was Bertoneglass in Italy (where the Moby was made)
Good luck to your pal, let us know how he gets on(y)

Thanks very much for that Vic, will let you know the results,

Mike

I had a Mobilvetta some time back, the front screen is in three parts, the main centre section and two curved bits at the sides. I did not have a problem with mine but I was told when I purchased the van that the main screen was a standard Fiat Ducato screen, worth investigating.

Thanks Pete but this was in one piece before being smashed, now countless pieces

The code on my screen
ICS - might be manufacturer
E6 is where it was made - Belgium
43R is the glass type
003084 is the type approval

Found this - might be worth trying
