Hi All
I currently use a net gear nighthawk M2 for providing internet when away in my MH . We mainly use it in the UK to connect our phones too and download the odd movie on our smart TV . The net gear is connected to an Ariel which is on the roof. My SIM card is coming up for renewal. I am interested to learn which data provider is the best regarding coverage in Uk and internet speed. I currently use a preloaded 120GB EE sim which last 12 months .

Does anyone have any better recommendations please ?

EE have the best network, especially out in the sticks. Part of the reason is they've got good band 20 coverage, which is low frequency and long range. They don't offer band 20 to resellers. So someone else using the EE network won't get the band 20 coverage. EE consistently win best network awards. EE aren't cheap because they are good.

If i had to rely on one supplier it would probably be Vodafone as i can usually get a decent signal wherever we have been.
When we are away in Uk we have:
Iphone using Vodafone with 100gb data per month (pm)
Iphone with O2 -60gb pm
Router with an unlimited Three sim.

Bought the Three sim from Scancom and was @ £130 for 36 months unlimited data each month.
Also have an unlimited O2 sim from them in the house router which was £18 pm. Bit more expensive but i only wanted a 6 month sim. The Scancom sims only work in uk.
For foreign travel i have an IQ sim.

For the next trip I'll be trying out IQ, £20 for 100GB for 30 days seems reasonable should be enough for us.

It's possible. But I know it's rare. Plusnet don't get it. I confirmed it as I had as Plusnet SIM. I didn't think 1p did either?

We’re using Poppit £25 for 100gb month.
Current trip France,Belgium,Netherlands,Germany and Poland. Works perfectly and allows streaming of all UK TV main channels.

It was 18 months ago i took it out. Had a look on the Scancom & Amazon sites, think this is about the best.

Been using the IQ GO SIM card, annual subscription of £20 and top up data.
In my case I take the 100GB for 30 days when I go away.
Coverage is by EE and I've not had any problems with getting a signal.

EE unlimited as fast as is available sim here for my device, you get a discount if you already have another EE sim on your account. Currently getting 72 down and 28 up at Swaffham.

Three also have band 20 now, and often from the SAME cell towers as EE as they share infrasturcute still.

Worth noting checking your device supports band 28 and 32 with Three, as band 28 has similar coverage to band 20 (its 700 mhz so goes further, and wider than even EE's band 20) Three are rolling it out quite quickly at moment.

Band 32 is 1500mhz, and wider than Threes band 3 coverage too, but it's downlink only so REQUIRES a cat6 or higher deivce.

Clubfest this weekend with 4000 vans, and the only reason I'm able to type this is the band 32 coverage at Weston park, as my actual phone isn't working at all (which does not support band 32).

Ref plans, as always I'll say I've been using Scancom via Amazon for both EE and Three sims for over 4 years now. (First got them 2019 ish), work out at just over £10 a month for UNLIMITED (650Gb) EE sims, with access to band 20, these are prepay, usually about £250-300 for 24-30 months service, and are usually even cheaper on black friday type deals on Amazon. For Three they offer a 500gb sim prepaid for 2 years at equivalent of £2 a month last time I checked. These sims are UK only deals and do not roam at all.
