Just got a mobile wi-fi box from cash convertors for £9.99p.
I am out in the field what a difference from my old dongle
every thing lodes up a lot faster.
(1) So will this save me on credit
(2) What would be the best tariff on three
(3) I am going to the states for a week in a few weeks time Huston texus to look at some equipment can I use it out there

I think Three only has one data tariff now Bill and I think (but not certain) that their roaming deal is confined to Europe.
If the MiFi device is unlocked you may be able to use it with an American SIM in Huston.
You would probably be best asking in a Three shop.

Give Three a ring Bill. I'm on Three and use the Feel at Home service. Meant I could use my normal package (including data allowances) all summer in France just as if I was at home. The service DOES include the USA. Check out their website for details.

I think you need to have had the 3 sim for a qualifying time before you can use it in the USA with their Feel At Home tariff. But check with 3 first that it will work correctly, my Mother in Law took her 3 phone to America a couple of months ago expecting to use it for free but couldn't get any service there ( even though she travelled around a lot)

If you go Three route, check out their ipad Sym only deal, I've found they're a better deal.

It's easy enough when you know how :)
Bill has a new MiFi to use with his laptop. Manic suggested Bill obtain a SIM for an iPad. Bill hasn't got an iPad and isn't going to get one. Bill isn't going to get an iPad SIM either because they don't fit a MiFi.
See, easy (y)

Of course, silly me!
Now if you'll just excuse me a minute I need to put some more coal on my Amstrad, it's running a bit slow...

If your on O2 Bill you can get an app called TUgo which you can use over the internet, I've used it all over the world, including Houston, where one of my daughters lives. (y)

No it won't I'm afraid Bill. These days there are 3 sizes of SIM - see Here. Your MiFi uses a standard SIM.
However, I've just looked at the Three plans and it seems that the Broadband contracts can be bought with any SIM size so Manic's recommendation may well help you. Best ask in a Three shop.
