From safe communities Portugal- man with Alzheimer’s missing near Silves

MISSING PERSON UPDATE 28TH DEC - JOHN BAINBRIDGE – AGE 79 – PLEASE HELP FIND HIM - PLEASE SHARE

John Bainbridge is aged 79 years, a British national, and went missing on Friday 26th January 2018 in the early hours of the morning after climbing out of a window from his home in Odelouca, Silves. He was last seen around 0530 hrs on 26th near the restaurant Orique on the N124 not far from the couple’s home.

A new photo of John has been posted. John is 1.83 metres tall, of very slim build (63 kg) with grey hair and is suffering from Alzheimer’s. At the time he went missing, he was wearing a black pullover, and shirt underneath, blue jeans and black trainers with white flecks. He left home with no phone or identification and there is some concern regarding his safety given his health condition, age and the cold weather.

The GNR are conducting searches in the area, plus a number of local volunteers. As at 28th 1400 hrs there are no sightings.
