Millport Activity Meet Mon-Fri 19th-23rd

Due to the high numbers and very limited places a replacement site has now been found for the original weekend.

The date has been changed for Millport to midweek and is for folk wishing to participate in Kayaking/Cycling. Please only add your name if you strongly wish to do these activities. If your name is on the list as one of the folk doing the 4 meets and you don't want to participate then please kindly let someone else take your place.

Kayaking..Prices depend on the number in a group, but if between 6 and 10, would be approximately £40 per person for a half day session, or £60 for a full day which includes a 3 course hot lunch.

The price includes tuition and hire of appropriate craft and clothing. Participants should supply their own towels and swimwear.

Please let us know if you would like to book. A non-refundable deposit of £20 per person would be required.

We should be ok for that change of date but might have to sacrifice the Kelso meet. Roll on retirement ..... or the winning lottery ticket!! Not fussed which, although the latter is probably worth more

Millport starts as Kelso finishes.

Cheers. Site location is on the Garrison House Grounds £10 per night. No EHU but fresh water and black dump.

Looking good........ at the moment all four look good to us, but not totally sure about the kayaking, but perhaps I'll take to it like a duck to water

Thanks, Ive added the ferry info to the events title. Cycles can be easily hired or bring your own. Cycling around the island is almost very flat and is 10.5 miles around. A cycling trip will be organised later.

I just looked on the calendar and checked the dates......... have not seen the bus museum meet but will look

Deposits will be paid once we have final kayaking numbers. Will start a list shortly for half day/full day sessions.

Would love to do this meet, it's right up out street. I am not sure if we will be in the UK then but will keep an eye on the thread just in case we are and just in case we can squeeze in at the last minute.
