Millport 3rd-7th June

Depending on covid restrictions ...Our annual jaunt over to Millport on the lovely island of Cumbrae will take place in The Garrison grounds Thurs3rd - Mon 7th June.

Cumbrae is a 8 minute ferry ride from Largs on the West coast of Scotland. Ferry fares in total are approx £3.60 per person and £25 for van..depending on size. Anyone with a supersized vehicle please shout out.

This island is famous for its flat cycling 10.5miles around. Cycles can be hired locally, Silly kayaks can also be hired in the shop. Have your own kayak, bring it along, its worth a paddle out to see the seals.

£10 per night. A £10 non returnable deposit is required for your name to be added to list. Full payment due by 30/4/21

There are 17 places, if we cant fill them by April 30th we may have to share with other non funster motorhomers.

Anyone not been and require further info just shout out.

Any lost deposits will be spent towards our group BBQ

REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN IF COVID RESTRICTIONS PREVENT THIS MEET GOING AHEAD.

There is "possibly" a meet at Hawick the weekend before this but this cant be confirmed as yet.

Congratulations on making your first post in over 5 1/2 yrs of joining. Glad you've taken the 1st step, you'll find a nice friendly bunch at Millport. I've sent you a group message on how to pay, its at the top. Look forward to meeting you...and Grianan too.

Fresh water and toilet dump, grey goes into the hedge.

FYI: Those of you thats never been to Millport, There is a Morrisons in Largs near to ferry port., no supermarket in Millport, only some shops, convenience store, butchers, chinese, newsagents, chip shops, cycle hire and pubs.

I will post up ferry tides just before meet. Longer vehicles should cross as close to high tide as possible if you have a long overhang.
