Million Pound Motorhomes

They do talk a load of twaddle on that programme 😂

How does a 4 grand conversion qualify as a million pound motorhome??

The program is a joke!!
It's light hearted telly! Some in the series do approach the million plus but not all, it's just a contrast. The cheaper conversions are of as much curiosity interest to me as the mega slideouts!

Daft.
But i do like to look at the posh expensive ones to see what i wouldn't (sorry couldn't buy)
Do like the Land Rover one..
how much was that one? I thought I hear 250,000! Not even a portaloo!

I didn’t like it, even without the hefty price tag, and still for sale at £250,000. Their website states basic price of another will be £350,000. For an overlander surely some sort of basic loo and means of washing needed and storage for water, fuel and spares. I would like to see the V5 and weight.

If you don’t like the program, I assume you have a remote control…..Simple’s!! Personally a others have said it’s light hearted and has a few Motorhome’s!! It’ll do for a Sunday evening! 🤓

The land rover airstream was a bit of a hotch potch, after a 2 year build and selling price of £250 k it was a bit of an odd looking camper and internally was just 2 bench seats and lots of little cushions that made up a bumpy looking bed..
Not surprised he has no takers.

I only watch it because I have a massive soft spot for Jill Halfpenny but even then can only hear her

I'm gobsmacked at the prices of many of the new motorhomes featured, how the heck they can justify them I'll never know! I guess I need to look beyond the raw cost of materials and times all by a factor of 100 😀😃🙂

Like most things on Channel 5, The AD breaks are longer than the programme itself, cant watch it live because of that.
Then add in the inevitable competition to win something!

Have not watched since the two Morelo owners announced, "people often think we are celebrities arriving on a site" I was so jealous we have never been mistaken as celebrities, I have never watched it again :) . We have however been asked a few times if it was us on the show. At Malvern Motorhome show this year I over heard a guy talking at the water tap telling everyone that we were on the show. I had to put them right, there is absolutely no way we would even consider it and we certainly don't think anyone would see us celebrities :)

Yes, an hour long programme is about 46 minutes of film

We commented it was an hour wasted, and not for us.

We love looking at the expensive Motorhome’s on YouTube, watching the tours of what the elite can and do afford… for nothing other than just because!

Yep can’t believe anybody could spend that amount on that as you could get a cracking motorhome for that price
Can’t believe it took a year to do the shell either 🙈

I quite like the programme and it is good showing a different variety on the show

As with most programs these days we record them and watch later. Fast forwarding over the adverts and the "celebrity" testing the handheld hoovers, it took us exactly 35min to watch all the rest.

The 46 minutes was quoted by the director when we were doing CITA - I think your estimate feels closer, which makes me glad they didn’t include some of the stuff they filmed 🥴

Have to say i was only casually watching. When commercials come on i flick the channel so i must have missed the £250k for that LR........no way, hand built or not.
