Miller’s Field Motorhome Aire, Ambleside.

I have just returned from a short trip to the Lake District, staying at Coniston. Had a trip out to Ambleside and parked at Millers Field car park. I have noticed a number of a number of treads from around 2017 lamenting the closure of a Motorhome Aire.
However I took this photo on Thursday 7 April 2022. Inside the gate was one Motorhome parked up.
This is a great location easy access to the town centre and also down to the lakeside. Has anyone stayed there recently?

Stayed there for 2 nights a couple of weeks ago in a hire van. Great location for Ambleside but only facilities were water for £20 a night. Chatting to the guy collecting the money he said that they expanding it and were planning to fit ehu. He agreed with me that it would be better to supply waste facilities.

Stayed at Millers Field for a few days before he was forced to close .. a great spot.
