MH Insurance....again

Went on to the compare sites to insure the MH, cheapest £958 (hahaha). Phoned Comfort, gave them the exact same details £298 (similar to last year but not with Comfort last year). How can that be.
Something seriously wrong with the insurance industry.

The compare sites don't cater for anything out of the norm.
And most insurers / brokers don't understand motorhomes.

Comfort are a well established company and very reliable. Each year there renewal prices are sometimes the same or marginal increased. I've tried several others but after the first year they stick up prices. I've been with Comfort for 5 years now and very happy.
Regards pricing variations a lot of leisure insurers see it as a cash cow. They make all the right noises about loving customers and good service but after 35 years motorhoming words don't mean very much now.
