Hiya, going to Cornwall through June and wondered if anyone could suggest any MH friendly daytime parking. Also places of interest in the same area. We're members of nat trust and eng heritage so got all them.any hints would be useful thanks

Looe has a massive carpark with reasonable 24 hour rates. I stay at the Caravan Club site, drive into town and stay for the day.
Thanks for the information which particular carpark do you use?l believe there are 3or4.

I know its not cornwall, but on subject of MHfriendly carparks Seaham hall carpark is nice if you want to go collecting seaglass...lots of people do this.sadly,it's daytime parking only as a few selfish ones have ruined overnights by leaving their mess behind....Good for Seaham, most of us respecting motorhomers will keep you nice and clean. Noses Point has a nice carpark facility ( please keep it clean) then we can keep using it🙂🙂

If you want to visit the Eden Project, there are large car parks and a shuttle bus.

Tintagel on north coast has several friendly car parks and is a great little village. English Heritage site well worth the visit.
King Arthur car park £5.00 overnight. Level tarmac hard standing.

Thanks for the info
I meant to add, depending on your mobility, it is nicest to walk in and down to get the full picture and to get the bus back up out of the quarry !

Millpool - it is alongside the estuary just over the bridge. You can't miss it.
Thanks for your info,I'll share this and any l come across. Its really helpful when advice is shared, and it certainly avoids fines for being in wrong or unwanted places.

Not quite Cornwall but Devon, I found leaving my moho on site and using buses great. Last year was in Brixham, bus stop nearby, we are a family of five, with a daughter in wheelchair and a dog. £10 a day unlimited travel in the Torbay area was fine. No parking fees, can have a pint or two. Plenty of buses. Did do the same around Perranporth in Cornwall.

Sorry to hear that, wish you well. There are plenty of more remote areas in Cornwall but lots of small seaside towns are very small with limited parking. I hope you have a disability badge and can use responsibility in many places.

Yes l have a blue badge but a 6.3 MH takes 2 spaces which l gladly pay for, they just have to be end to end rather than side by side so consequently its a double fee.still better than a fine 🙂

While in Cornwall try Tintagel VERY MH friendly with three type aires which allow overnight sleeping at very reasonable prices. Tintagel Castle the legendary birth place of King Aurther. Be interested how you get on using the new bridge!
