Things you didn’t know you could do with an iPhone !

So during the winter , the spike in the lawn for our rotary clothes drier has grassed over and we couldn’t find it. I was about to ask on FB for a metal detector to borrow - then moment !! Wonder if there’s a metal detector app and yes there is and spike found in a flash

May be useful if you lose something on a site or beach

Not knocking Apple here as fairly certain they were first with this.

Also several apps available in Play Store for those with Android for phones with NFC. They do seem to work quite well.

Too much trouble on android.
Tried three downloads and one wants Spotify, temu and god knows what else.
Second only does gold and third says I don't have magnetic sensor so won't work.
I'll stick with me current method of finding dropped screws etc .....a large, powerful magnet
