I have broken the little triangle off the end of the bar that holds the Omnivnt Mosquioto net open. This is what it looks like now (the hole is where I have unsuccessfully tried to fix in a small metal bar to lock it). It is a 400mm square unit. The blackout blind has exactly the same part.

The bit that is broken should look like this (taken from the other side)

Note the triangular bit on the end.
I have located a complete new roof vent for £57, and also a complete mosquito roll assembly for £20, but cannot get delivery until end of January. I am still trying. Whatever part I buy, I will only be rep[lacing the slider part.
I believe it is an injection moulded part. Does anyone have the ability to either make an injection moulded part or a 3D printed part or weld a bit on to the end (and fill the hoe) that I could dremel to the right shape. Does anyone know where I might get a scrapped part cheaper than the £20 I have found for a new roller?

Or u could try a bit of solvent weld glue as used on waste pipe depends on type of plastic

Thankyou. Unfortunately the mating surface is only about 2mm x 4mm and it is on the line where it will be most stressted, so I dont think it will stay stuck for long
