What do you use in your mh? Melamine or china dinner sets, do you find a taste off the melamine when drinking and eating hot food.

Used Corelle ourselves but then with the new truck and a huge payload...Chunky china !

Still 70’s Gaydon Melamex dark orange for me ? ... only two of each so would love a few more bits ?

We use a mix of Corelle and Melamine, never noticed any taste. Use Corelle if cutting up food required or microwaving. I prefer the Melamine for washing and drying as only a matter of time till I drop one

Disgusting pattern
You need to see the purple one we have then ! Now That ......is truly horrible!
I can blame the wife for that though...Her choice of colours!

We like Corelle although IKEA do some pretty good plain white tempered glass bowls and plates at 50p per item. We have two deeper bowls for pasta and they are perfectly adequate and would save a fortune! Can’t bear melamine except for a sandwich.

Got our Melamine from Lidl blue with a yellow flower. Can’t be arsed to open the van to photograph them

Melamine plates (got a full set with out first motorhome over 6 years ago). China pasta bowls. Proper glass glasses.

corelle and ikea's version, light and nearly unbreakable despite Brenda trying very hard

Ikea tempered glass @ 50p an item. China cups and real glasses. No plastic in our van, can't stand the stuff.

China and glass for us.

Barely any payload for china lol so bamboo ones for us, do have a cabinet with proper hobby glasses tho!

Dinner sets? We carry two plates, two mugs and two glasses..Melamine plates but proper mugs and glasses..Why would two of us need more.?BUSBY.

We used to have Corelle plates but if you drop one they shatter into a trillion pieces. We now have the white and blue enamel plates and bowls, which can be warmed in the oven for hot food. We also have proper mugs.

Simple answer - not noticed any taste in 25 years
We use a mix of melamine , china or glass

Depends what we are eating, drinking

there is only one make, IMO and that is corelle
Yep. Buy in USA if you get the chance, cheap as chips in Walmar. Melamine free zone here - Corelle all the way.

very very fussy about glasses And mugs. Really nice crystal wine glasses and whisky tumblers and porcelain mugs. Hate drinking out of thick glass and mugs resembling dog bowls

Ikea tempered glass crockery, china mugs and real glasses.

Here’s the Ikea set, a little more than the 50p an item they do (£10 for 12 pieces) but a fraction of the Corelle price and we prefer it.
