Mechanics in Edinburgh

Can anyone recommend a garage to fix my clutch (2002 ducato) in Edinburgh or surrounding area please?

I'd use Short Self Drive but they are busy in to late next week.

I use Logan Vehicle Services 07891 531033 Graham is based in Lanark but fully mobile. I know he's kept busy but could give him a try.

Cheers I decided to stay here for a bit longer so I've booked it in at Shorts. They've done work on it before and I was happy enough so hopefully be okay.

A bit further south that you would probably want to travel but Mill Garage in Duns are very good.

They are specialist convertors as well.

Well you think you've found a half decent garage then....

Put it in for clutch, fuse replacement and mot first thing this morning. The days ticking by so I phoned for an update and they have drove it and reckon the clutch is fine. Plus not sure they can get it up on their ramp. I did ask if they could when I booked it in.

They are waiting for a fuse and haven't had time to mot it.

So basically they have done nothing.

Clutch went on my recent trip and was crunching to get in to reverse and first was a struggle. That lasted about a week then it freed off but I thought the clutch pedal needed to be unusually high before it bit.

So not sure what to do now. They say the clutch is fine but I have my doubts. Might just get them to test it and I'll maybe try one of the other recommendations for the clutch.
