popped out in the car last week for a drive just because its allowed now. Ended up poking about the inside of a 2021 Mclouis Fusion 360. One with the fiat automatic gearbox. A smidge under 60k for what looked like and felt like a nice motorhome.
Has anyone got one or any experienced of McLouis ? Thanks

Our first moho was a McLouis bought from the factory in 2000 LHD I imported it to the UK. It was very good solidly built and functional. I had it 8 years did 80,000 miles and sold it for £7k less than I paid for it. So a 👍 from me.

We have just bought a McLouis Fusion 379, it is our 1st MOHO. I am very pleased with it. The only 1 complaint is although the table moves around back and forth, left and right, it would be nice to remove it or drop 1 side as it is quite large.

Glad to hear you are liking your new van. We are still waiting on the new van being registered with the DVLA. Re the table, we too think it’s on the big side and will be looking to change it to something like a fold over table. I’m pretty sure that I have seen one in one of the promotional photos for the MCLouis range

The only other is was that I went to the weigh station after buying it (we did have 40 litres of water and had already put much of our kit in) and it weighed 3240, so we had a space 260kg. I have since had it uprated to 3700kg by SVTech and can go to 4000 if I get air assist suspension. I think I should be ok with 3700. We have intentions of taking our son, his wife and daughter out, so what with my wife as well (she was not in it when it got weighed) we will be on or above the 3500 limit. The uprating was just photos and forms, no extra weighing.

Yip, we have uprated to the 3650. May look at uprating further but will see how it goes. Looking forward to having the fixed bed and garage for the bikes

This will be our 1st trip with the bikes, the garage is huge. I got my registration through on the day I picked it up, it was a close call. The bed is very comfy and I have had no problems with the tapering.

Yay, you right, the bed is comfy 😃. The table is something else though, far too big so that will be getting changed at some point once we figure out what to replace it with. Also, need to put in some more electrical sockets but apart from that, so far so good.

We had a Mclouis 20 years years ago for 3 years did 32,000 miles never has a single thing go wrong with it.

See plenty of them on the road here, in fact they are very popular. Aren't they Italian ? i guess they'll be owned by a larger group ???

Yes, they are Italian. They also have the continental grey waste pipe which just dumps straight down. This meant I have to lie on the floor under the MOHO and lift the grey waster cover. I have now got a Colapz adapter so I can drive beside the drain but still have to go under to connect.

In the past, I lifted the cover for the drain point before driving over it, then pulled the rod to open the waste tap.

Once, the dirty beggar who used it last didn't bother to lift the drain cover and left it under gallons of grey water. Yuk.

I did drive over it the last time but am convinced that I will one day drive down it.

The 1st time I did it, I drove over with the cover on, so had to lie down to get the cover off. Now I have to lie down to attach the adapter to the down pipe.

I recently got a McLouis Fusion 330. Just back home today from it’s maiden voyage.
Got out the MH at home and noticed that there was 4 cables wrapped loosely in black electrical tape hanging down 3 inches below the MH at the passengers door area. I can also see another two core cable with a white female plug hanging down near the grey waste tank outlet.
I’ll need to check these out tomorrow as I’m away again on tour on Monday.

Also noticed a few other missing finishing covers etc and the more I look at areas that are hidden then the more that I can see the poor finishing touches. Looks like the above work has been carried out on a Friday or Monday 😢

I have not seen any of that, everything is of very high quality. Mine came from Choose Leisure in Canterbury. I will look under the door the next time I am down at the MOHO.

Why dont you just remove it ? We have and use a high quality camping table inside or outside. Much better and creates much more space.

That’s where we purchased ours too lol

(y) Oh and why are all the mains sockets upside down?

🤣 dunno but OH turned them around so they are sideways, one reason for sideways was the tv is near to the Han door so didn’t want cable getting in the way. The front flap and cover prises off with a flat tool, which exposes the 4 screws, undo them and turn socket around to suit, obviously keep the electric off 🙄

Hi, I'm looking at a 379, have you had any problems with yours?

Our biggest complaint is the oven, it is not that efficient, the door is hard to open and when on for a long time it makes the MOHO think it is hotter than it really is, having a small fan blowing air just above the oven sorts it, we would like to replace it with something better but not sure what would fit. Everything else is good.

I've still got a 2006 Mclouis Tandy 640 Plus, had it for 9 years now. It's been very good, nothing really has gone wrong that isn't just age related. A bit like it's owner really.

Is it a SMEV oven? Have a look at my old thread:-
