Anybody got one. We had the fiamma version which cooled enough for us to sleep in south of France. Dont want to fork out for aircon just wandering what are the experts thoughts.

Maxxview, or Maxxfan???

If Maxxfan then I can highly recommend, although it’s not perfect.

Maxxview or Maxfan?
edit. Andy beat me to it.

Had a MaxxFan for about 4 year (I think) and have it running almost all the time.

Quiet enough to sleep with (on low), doesn't matter if it rains and powerful as hell if turned up.

Wouldn't be without it (y)

Is that on extract to remove the smell of the night-time farts?

retro-fitted one to the Amethyst with little modding to get a better positioning. works well, although I've yet to have it on in hot weather.

I actually replaced our aircon with a Maxxfan as we never used it (and sold it for the cost of the Maxxfan!)

We've not had a chance to test it in really hot weather but at full belt it provides a satisfying breeze - it can be used for suck as well as blow, or you can just leave it open with no fan, very versatile. Use it all the time when cooking, no more smoke alarms!

I installed one, there is a thread in my signature.

It’s a great bit of kit!

Can hardly hear it on low, when on full blast the temperature quickly drops in summer and stays low. Doesn’t matter if it’s raining so great for muggy wet weather too.

Works great when cooking and keeps the atmosphere just right.

Has a thermostat mode so automatically adjusts speed accordingly.

Full blast only uses 4 amps so great for off grid all year.

In short, I would buy another tomorrow.
