Having looked at the threads regadring Maxxis tyres I bought some, however only when the tyres arrived did I see the the max PSI is 65
But the recommended pressure on our Ductao based Burstner is 79 PSI

I would welcome comments and advice

American specification , not applicable in Europe.

Are you taking this from the door pillar sticker? It’s the same sticker on them all. The only way to know what the correct pressures should be is to get weighed, so you know what the front and rear axle loads are fully loaded and ready to go with all occupants on board.
Then you can enquire with Maxxis about the correct pressures.

Thats only because the max pressuer for a CP rated tyre is 80psiat max load which is what your door sticker will say.
You now have a van tyre which requires 65psi for max load. Run them at 65psi it will be fine.
If in doubt ask Maxxis having given them you axle weights.

Thank you Liz & Tim
yes I was looking at the door pillar sticker.
Will continue to research

Sorry I didn't make myself very clear , on Continental Vanco camping tyres it clearly states Maximum tyre pressure 69 psi but this I believe relates to the north American market only.
In much smaller writing on the sidewall it states 5.5 Bar ( 80 psi ).
Perhaps Maxxis have the same type of thing ?
