Maxxfan deluxe - how to stop the fan?

Hi all. I have a maxxfan and have what might be a daft question.
I can turn it on, it opens and the fan runs and then I can turn off and it closes and fan stops.
I can also press the open button to open without the fan on and press it again to close.

What I can’t work out is … when it is open and the fan is on, how can I stop the fan but leave the vent open? The only way I can work it out is to turn it off which stops the fan but also closes the vent and then press the open button to open it again…is there a way to turn the fan on/off when it is open?

No there isn’t. You are correct. You turn it off then press the open/close button

It’s a shame that a few bits of the fan are poor and tacky, such as the remote and blind. The fan it’s self is brilliant.
