Hi,

In our MH we have 4 inch memory foam toppers on the beds & v comfy they are too!

Unfortunately on the last trip when it was cold noticed some condensation on the matress/sheets.

I notice the original mattresses below are held off the wall by a corrugated plastic strip as in the photo attached.

I'm assuming the condensation is because of the topper touching the wall (no leaks apparent!).

Any ideas where to obtain these plastic spacers from?

Google & the search button have failed me or maybe the other way round!

Many thanks

I`ve chasing old records without success, 20 years ago now in my first R-V we had a similar issue. we found a product that did a brilliant job. It was like a sandwich of fibres about 10mm thick between 2 stiff sheets, we cut it about 6" wide and put it between the matress and the wall of the R-V. Sorry but for the life of me I cannot remember it`s name!.

Used this type of stuff before.

look at boat stuff to solve your issues. They suffer a lot more than us motorhome owners with condensation

Thanks for the suggestions - was thinking some mini trunking myself as have it lying around!

Was looking for the lazy option I suppose!..?

It's just a space that allows ventilation and avoids touching the cold wall or creating a cold bridge so don't see why trunking wouldn't work.
