eBay sellers are asking £16.99 each for them, but it's a simple job to make your own.

Here is the parts list I used :-

4 x Solar Powered 100 led PIR Motion Sensors - <Broken link removed>
I preferred white light units which are slightly more expensive - <Broken link removed>

Awning Rail Piping (Keder strip) - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/16435885...d=link&campid=5338547443&toolid=20001&mkevt=1

M4 x 10mm Stainless Steel Hex Socket Button Head Bolts - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/32123167...d=link&campid=5338547443&toolid=20001&mkevt=1

M4 Stainless Steel Nyloc Nuts - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/32090162...d=link&campid=5338547443&toolid=20001&mkevt=1

M4 Stainless Steel Washers - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/22101764...d=link&campid=5338547443&toolid=20001&mkevt=1

You will need to run a 4mm drill through the mounting holes in the light units.
Cut lengths of the awning rail piping to suit.
I heated the end of a long screwdriver to make the holes for the bolts in the awning rail piping and then bolted the light units to the awning rail piping.
I positioned the holes so the nuts on the back would not swing and bang into the awning front bar and damage it's finish.
You could stick a strip of duck tape or the like over the nut as protection if you so wish.

great idea, Ive got those lights (slighty larger) around the garden, they work well.
Thanks

Neat job. How many lumens per light? They look as if they are maybe too bright for my needs but difficult to tell from the pictures and the description doesn't say.

The Chinglish instructions do not indicate how many Lumen they are, but they have 4 options on the push button switch, they being :-

1 - On at full brightness for about 30 seconds, then off until it senses movement when it comes on again at full brightness again and so on.
2 - On at half brightness and stays on at half brightness until it senses movement when it comes on at full brightness for about 30 seconds and then back to half brightness again and so on.
3 - On at half brightness and stays on at half brightness regardless of any movement.
4 - Off.

Great idea Two on Tour! Just ordered all those bits.
Thanks for your inspiration!

These will switch 2 amps and could be wired to the existing awning light or a strip...

Masking tape or similar would 'dim' them I'm sure - or even coloured acetate sheets?

Great idea

Well I’ve tried them in the dark now. Outstanding! I’m ordering some magnetic sticky tape so I can stick one to the top trailing edge corner of each cab door, this means we can have light all around the MoHo, Also means they can be multi-use
