New to Motorhome, experienced caravanner 😊
A wee test night away locally to see how everything works in the new (new to us) Motorhome before we head off to France in a couple of weeks.
We’ve only ever used a caravan before, can’t believe how much everything rattles in the Moho!!
So the first job will be wrapping up everything in tea towels 🤣

Your caravan probably had rattles but you could not hear them in the towing vehicle

We just pack the cupboards with a cushion over all the cups and plates etc. It helps a lot. Same with the oven/grill. Be careful not to set fire to the van though if you light the oven without removing the cushion......its been known

I use silcone mats under the grill and in the oven, just in case!

I bet your caravan rattled a lot more.

Been there done that, I've got the badge. A tea towel in my case, it tested the smoke alarm.

With me it was storing the Weetabix in the oven!

We use non-slip matting on the cupboard bottoms and leave a bit of a gap between cups etc. We also put that thin foamy stuff inbetween the plates etc.

Killed most of my rattles with thin foam between plates and mugs, glasses in cutouts in foam.
Some rattles from the cab blinds though, we are also off on a maiden voyage tomorrow for 3 days in the new forest, with toad on the back.
