We are currently parked outside of a hospital along with about thirty other vans. Despite being on the side of the road, it was very quite over night.
The stop is free, there are bins for rubbish and a Burgerking across the road for a quick coffee and drop spot.
The metro is a five minute walk followed by a 40 minute three train journey to the centre of town. Tickets costs €12.20 for a card of ten journeies plus €2.50 for the refillable card.
One the way to or from the metro you will pass a couple of excellent and cheep local restaurants.
Sadly Madrid is very expensive, remenicant of France for beer prices €6 a pint paid in to different bars ........
