Since 1964 Gosh that makes me feel old.
I don't know the fine details, but this appeared on a Motorhome Faceache page.
Occupants ok though, so thats the main thing.

I thought it said “Plonker” on the back

They posted on one of my fb pages. All occupants ok but a terrifying experience.

Saw that earlier on motorhome happiness. Back tyre aswell ... usually easier to control but very lucky

Glad all are ok . In a situation like this would the tyre be losing pressure before the blow out ? We have a TPMS monitor but not sure if it would work in the case of a blow out ?

Never seen front suspension ripped off by a blow-out.
I suspect it was more than a blow-out, more like front suspension ball joints gave way.

By the look of the lh side I think it likely the central arco did that which then caused the flip on the side

Not true with a motorhome. The top-heavy lurch caused by a blow-out is more difficult at the rear.

Hope he's not emptying his tanks on the sly ;)

I wonder what speed they were doing ? I don’t travel in the “fast” lane on the Motorway . I presume a blowout would be easier to control at a lower speed . Nothing to suggest they were speeding. Just glad they were both ok . Not sure how any rear passengers would have ended up . It does get you thinking when you see things like this .

One for Tam I reckon!

Few hours with the welder and grp putty good as new......!

Anyone know what van it is btw???
Small RV I'm thinking.

Living the dream - would hate to see the nightmare!

Cheers James
