Travelling down the Romantic Road (meh!) spotted this brochure in reception on a site ,might be worth a look for those with a solid garage roof (not me sadly ,movable island bed).

What could possibly go wrong with boxes on tracks suspended from the roof? Lol maybe the usual problem with people loading too much weight high up.

Quite a lot of German mohos have these fitted, even N&B fit them

Not unheard of in the UK...
I based the storage of our DIY van around them

Often called "Eurocrates" or "KLT boxes", and are sub-divisions of standard pallet sizes, with various heights
