Anyone else here? First time visit for us.

We visited last November if I remember correctly.
There was nobody there, not even anybody to take any money.
We put the money in an envelope and put it through the letterbox on the first barn by the entrance.
We had been warned not to set a tyre on the grass , so we went directly down the gravel track and parked at the end of it near the run down little barn.

Love Lyndon Top, used to be like that with no warden-money in honesty box.
They had a lovely couple there few years back, he was a lovely chap, got C and I think he’s passed away now!

Love it there but the price has risen a bit lately, used to be £7 but now I believe it £12

You have to book online now and they give you a onetime gate code to check you in and out. I am going in 2 weeks time.

Not there but wish we were, have you gone to the lower field?

no barrier and not obvious, little bit further for cassette emptying but worth it for the view

if not there yet, it’s back out, turn right down hill then in through hedge in about 200m

Yep , we are here in lower field guided by Debs had to go up to fill n dump but settled now enjoying the sun and view Hyacinth 1 joining us 2mor .

Oh yes, and funflair and a few others were having a Morelo love-in. We kept our distance for fear of any rust jumping across to the shiny new palaces

That where I stop on the way to an sbmcc meet in august. First time we stayed at a ths opposite the ccc site. Was where I rode my trike for the first time properly. Lovely area might try and get down next week

It's our third time here in the last few weeks but the first time we've met Funsters here.
Just a quick overnight stop en-route to Yorkshire and beyond.

A few funsters were there a few weeks ago, celebrating a 60th birthday, did the 15.50 mile bike ride, stopped off at a pub. Love it there, so much room

Lower field for the view but it has a heck of a slope.
Even with our jacks and both front wheels off the ground we are far from level.

Lovely peaceful spot though.

Was there for the 1st time last week and might be back tomorrow for a night or two. Nice basic relaxed place to stay.
