Is there a good app for finding garages with lpg points.
Just tried Google and the first two no longer do it
Any help would be appreciated

The blame lies with the B-S over Electric Vehicles. Many Garages have removed the LPG pumps, citing "lack of use". Locally Even Flogas removed their`s at the Beverley Filling depot! a couple of years ago.

myLPG.eu works well for me.

Surprisingly it’s got nothing to do with Electric Vehicles !
The demise of LPG vehicles was caused by the Gordon Browns government push to dirty diesel vehicles in the 2001 budget ⚠
By 2017 there was 12 million diesel cars on Britain's roads, while back in 2000 there were only three million.
Those in the autogas conversion businesses saw the bottom fall out of the market almost immediately by all accounts.
It’s just taken many years for the realignment of the market to filter through and for some companies to decide not to replace ageing LPG infrastructure/equipment.
LPG won’t disappear completely but will find its own place within the market with less suppliers but possibly some new specialising In construction or leisure markets .

I`ve put LPG in the R-V a in a Morrisons?. But usually I used Flogas.

But as I sold it in 2012. it`s no longer any issue. The economics of using "refillable`s" (for me) are not favourable. And as I can no longer get to continental Europe, No medical cover where the convenience out weighs the cost factor.

Quite a large number (Most even) Big "gas" R-V`s in the UK went to LPG conversion, I think Olley`s Is?. That Market although small is still ongoing I understand?.

Filled our Gaslow bottles at Morrison’s on Monday as I have been for the last few years.
There seems to be frequent warnings that Morrison’s won’t allow motorhomes to fill but it's 'fake news'.
After previous 'warnings' I have asked the staff if there has been any directive from HO, there hasn’t been.

Richard.

myLPG.eu is great. There is an app too. I find the filllpg site slow or doesn't load.
UPDATE: just tried filllpg and it's a bit slow but does work well and seems accurate. Didn't want to poo-poo filllpg unnecessarily! ;)

Our local domestic gas supply people for bottled gas have a pump although I have never used it.

We tend to fill up at Autogas 2000 on the way home if we have been south or where ever we see LPG once we are into the orange on the gauge.

Asda in Hartlepool had LPG last year.

Filllpg is good for the UK but for mainland Europe MyLPG.eu, is much better.

It's the feed back I'm getting from other forums. Since Morrison is only recommending Safefill bottles now because they have the built-in safety valve. They are going to stop filling any others.

Never had much of a problem in the UK, a garage which is on our usual route away from home does us which is usually good for 2/3 weeks.

Our local Calor dealer has (used to have? not been there in a while) an LPG pump but will only allow it to be used for gas-fuelled vehicles, no refillables of any sort.

Taken from anothers forum
Just tried filling our Gasit on board canister at Morrison’s kirkstall ‘computer says no’!! Not allowed can only fill Safefill canisters or lpg vehicles. They have a printed page and if your systems not in it the answers No. Thank goodness for BP Riverside services less than a mile away no problem. More reasons to NOT to shop at Morrison’s !!
we have a proper external filler fitted and were just about to fill when the woman yelled over the tannoy to go in to the kiosk to get our wrists slapped and be told we couldn’t fill up. No reason other than a proffered print out with types of Safefill canisters on that you could fill. That’s what ‘they’ had sent so she couldn’t allow it unless it was on there as that’s what ‘they’ had said and unless she had it in black and white she wasn’t letting us fill up. No other reason given

On the A19 to the west of Hartlepool are 2 BP garages, one on each side of the A19. (Not the BP garage on the A689 junction). Both have lpg. Wetherby services does too.

I use the Autogas.app quite good and you can update any price increase or decrease yourself to help others. I have a Safefill bottle and regularly use an independent retailer, Birmingham Auto Gas, which is less than a mile from J6 of the M6. Currently 44p a litre. I've never used Morrison's to fill up. But our local Shell garage removed their LPG tank a few weeks ago.

One reason why?, May be the fact that at 10years old they (Bulk Storage Vessels) have to be tested and examined. Most are simply "swapped out" by the provider. And returned to the depot for gas freeing and inspection. The hassle and cost of so doing could be the final straw if the usage is marginal?.

I use fillLPG too, and as long as a local user keeps it updated I think it's very good.

Filled two gaslow equipped Motorhomes up for the first time today (mine with a new install, and new to brother-in-law van) at my local Morrisons this morning without issue, pulled in, hooked up and hit the button

That's a very good price, I'll remember when I'm over that way 👍
