I have been looking on eBay for some spare O rings for a w20 type connection ie pigtail to regulator,
I have had a look about but cannot seem to find any my pigtails are only 3 months old so did not want to replace the whole thing for the sake of a couple of rubber washers.

If it is O ring the you need to measure them carefully for diameter and section with a vernier caliper.
I have a large selection and will be happy to post you a couple if I have then.

Bought a box of a few hundred assorted generic o-rings from Aldi a while ago. Had to fit a couple the other day to my pigtails at the he bottle end - worked a treat.

You can't use those on lpg very dangerous they will dissolve /break up. You need O rings/washers made from Nitrile rubber or other approved materials.

Are they the correct material? Very dangerous to use standard O rings. See my previous post.

I'll keep an eye on them but the last ones failed due to crap professional fitting not material.

I thought that the pigtails were brass and didn’t use o rings

This might help. Nitrile is acceptable with LPG.

Welcome to our Rubber Chemical Resistance Chart
Here is the rubber compatibility chart that rates all popular rubber materials that comes into contact with various chemicals. Use this rubber chemical resistance chart to make sure that the elastomer or O-ring seal you choose will be compatible with the particular environment. The chemical compatibility of rubber is extremely important as the rubber can degrade rapidly if the rubber material is not compatible with the environment or media that it comes into contact with.

A - Recommended | B - Minor to Moderate Effect | C - Moderate to Severe | U - Unsatisfactory | Blank - Insufficient Data

Thanks everyone I do have a box of o rings but sort of knew that plain rubber was not the correct thing.
But for the life of me could not find them on eBay, I will now get some spares on order 👍

You will struggle to find rubber 'O' rings. Most commonly available ones are Neoprene (which is safe with LPG).
