Hi All,
Looking for recommendations as regards LPG conversion. We still have two 6kg light calors for our 2018 ‘new to us’ hardly used Apache 634 but are seriously considering upping the capacity and to a LPG refillable system.
Not as fit as I once was, what with doing cam belts, solar systems and air suspension for ourselves and others, we are contemplating having a LPG system fitted.
Have you any recommendations on systems, manufacturers, costs and installers - we are in Mid/West Wales.
Many Thanks and Kindest Regards
Trikeman. 😉

Go for an underslung tank if there's somewhere to stick it. You then get the gas locker back for storage use. If you like to be legal and turn your gas off when travelling, consider an electronic isolation valve so you don't have to crawl underneath to find the manual valve. Alternatively, install a crash valve, although these are rarely perfect as they don't protect the link between the tank and the valve.

Think you have to decide on bottles or underslung. We are underslung and was also fitted by Autogas 2000.

I've just fitted an 11kg Gasit refillable bottle with external fill point on the skirt next to the gas locker. Very easy and didn't take long. Plenty videos on YouTube for guidance.
