Low milage servicing.

Just read a thread about costs of a fiat service and some people mentioned low milage sevicing that appears to be offered by some fiat garages.?

Mine’s a ford based transit MH, 2nd. service was around £240 from memory but does include ford assisst , a European wide break down service.
My handbook says service every 2 years. Ford garage says every year.

So would be useful to hear others experince and views of this.
Obviously if you have your van serviced by an independant than you have flexibility

What is a low milage sevice, or sevice schedule?

Can you get your van serviced every two years with the makers blessing?

Being a transit you are unlikely to have it more than a year!

Ours is a Fiat, as the warranty is only 2 years, just after the 2 years is up I get the first service done by local independent (Lancing Commercial) light service £120, full service £240.
I class mine as low mileage 8000-9000 miles a year.

Oil filter and oil probably might get lucky with air filter included
