We toured Spain and Portugal last winter after touring France for several months, and somehow neither Spain or Portugal really did it for us. Now we live in France, and we have again come to Spain and Portugal for the winter. This year, we are enjoying it much more (and the weather is similar) for some reason.
We have been in El Puerto de Santa Maria (near Cadiz) for a few days, and while we quite enjoyed it, it was just a bit too busy for us, and the camp site was pretty much full, and we just felt cramped. So we have come inland to Camping Pueblo Blanco, near Olvera, which has over 200 pitches. There are three vans here, including us. It feels like heaven.
This is us. The photo at the start of the post is a view from the path around the site perimeter.
