This is the lovely Chateau Le Rocher Portail. Its notable for being furnished with relatively original furniture and servants quarters and kitchens. Its models itself as the French Downton Abbey ( apparently the french love the program)

Its near to St brice en Cogles which I'm grateful to a fellow funster for mentioning recently, which has a nice free aire just off the A84 between Avranches and Rennes close to Fougeres.

Nice area. You must visit Dinan if you can. Aire right under the viaduct, steep walk into a beautiful medieval town, you need a day at least.

lovely place , Fond memories, We used to fly into the Small airport in our small plane & Stay in the Center of town , I just love the Historic buildings

Definitely a day - I remember that hill!!

La Petite Train can be found not far from the aire and goes up the hill into town. Saves the legs somewhat.

Horrible these aires arent they

We re on our first campsite for 3 weeks, surrounded by screaming kids, buzzing drones and snoring campers, and it took us a good 30 minutes to get booked in.

Pleurtuit airport. Flew into it 100 times when we had a house in Jugon les lac near Dinan.
