Hi everyone, OK newbie to the forum. I have a 2014 fiat ducato. Suddenly it lost power, I've had it scanned and the fault code is p0101 air flow fault
So far the garage has replaced the sensor, removed and checked the egr, opened air filter and found 5 dead mice and chewed airfilter. This along with fuel filter has also been replace still to avail
The throttle body has been removed and cleaned and checked.... I only got the van in 2021 and has. A huge 3300miles on it... I'm. Due to go away with the family but it is still u driveable..and help. Appreciated...
Tony.

I have done a search of older threads for you and found this one where they had same fault code. I don’t know if there is anything in there to help.

If it’s van in limp mode it will not be easy to drive or would want to drive it any distance.
Has the system been reset since the work has been carried out?
If the system has not had the codes reset it is unlikely to get back to full performance

Have you had the MAF sensor replaced (Mass Air Flow) ? The sensor I’d down the induction line from the filter so bits of chewed air filter on the sensor could harm it.

Has it got a MAP sensor as later models, if so thats suspect for mice damage as well

Years ago, when we were looking for a misfire on petrol engines, we used to run the motor at tick over, then using a pair of insulated pliers, pull off the plug cap of one plug at a time. If there was a change in the engine's note, or it stalled, you knew that plug, ht lead, or coil pack was fine. When you disconnected the problematic plug, the engine note wouldn't change as it was having no effect on the firing cycle.
On that rather long winded note, try unplugging the map sensor and or the maf sensor (one at a time) with the engine running and see if it makes the engine struggle ?
Having said all that, my gut instinct (cos I hate those meeces to pieces!) is to check all the small rubber vacuum pipes that operate things like the v/v turbo and waste gate as a split or hole in one of those can cause all sorts of problems and could easily be flagged as an air flow problem.
