Having a few nights at this (newish) camperstop near Cartagena , thanks jumartoo for suggesting it.

Great stop for a bit of walking and cycling and the free BBQ this Sunday was a really nice gesture by the management.

So if you only have bikes what options for supermarkets/shops and general easy interesting rides?

We did a 20mile circuit through all the salad groves yesterday which was really nice, hardly met any vehicles and it was interesting to see what was growing.

We also cycled down to the coast the other day and have done a couple of walks from the site (a map is available in reception).

There aren’t any supermarkets near but an array of vans turn up at the site to sell stuff , bread daily plus cheese, fruit and veg during the week. The camperpark reception also sells some things too.

We were even there for part of Saturday, although not in our van ?

Thanks for the recommendations- is it best to book or can you just turn up? Thanks ?

Normally, I'd say just turn up, but everywhere is busier at the moment, so a quick call to them wouldn't hurt.

Jenben may know how busy it is atm.

Hi Alb and Elaine we emailed them and booked acouple days before we wanted to arrive they replied quickly. The site was nearly full when we where there last week.

Bobandfay - thanks for that, cheers ?

When we left today Oscar it was quite empty , like all camperstops there’s a regular turnover of vans coming and going.
As long as you don’t turn up late in the day I think you would be ok.
