Looking for a nice coastal town / beach (1 Viewer)

Hi all,
On our way home from ten week tour.
On the romantic route in Germany at the moment but I'm thinking of a few days in a nice coastal town with beach anywhere from Antwerp to Calais, especially if good weather continues.
Does anyone know of any nice places, prefer Aires to sites.

When Mrs CC and me came back from Germany a few weeks back I pulled into Niewport for some lunch.
Just outside the main town is a nice beach resort with shops and cafes and plenty of parking.
It’s a straight run from there into Calais.

We stayed at hotels so not sure about camping spots.

There’s quite a decent aire just outside Nieuwpoort - it’s on the Camperparkings app.

We stayed at the Ara Dune hotel, just after Dunkirk and only a couple of miles off the motorway. Sure there was campsites nearby.
