Hi everyone, well, I have finally bitten the bullet and signed up, so this is my first “members” post.
I have been motorhoming on and off since 2003, first van was an older Hymer 564 bought to stop me sleeping in a wet tent when racing my Yamaha TZ250. Sold it when I packed up racing but promised myself I would have another when I retired. Retired in 2012 and in January 2013 collected a 2006 Hymer B655 Starline, cracking van, went all over in it from Denmark to Sicily. Last September we sold the van since my partner was having to spend a lot of time helping her younger daughter-who has long COVID-with our 2 year old grandson so the chance for a decent trip in the van wasn’t there. We both missed the van so 3 months ago bought a 2015 Autosleeper Warwick Duo-nice van, and very easy to use on our crowded roads-but-we found having to move all the rear around to make and unmake the bed to be a nuisance-so we have just traded it for a 2016 Hymer Exsis I 414 which is having a solar panel and Gaslow system fitted currently. We are looking forward to many more happy miles in the new van-so keep smiling and we will see you out there.
