Hi all. Thinking of going ks lithium battery route.as we do a lot of off grid europe camping Some questions?

Van is adria matrix with nordelectronica charging unit. Is this easy to fit a b2b charger?

Anyone recommend a heating pad so solar and charger can charge when its cold

Is it better to have 2 smaller batteries or 1 big?

Cheers in advance.

No, and don’t listen to anyone who does recommend one. If you have yet to purchase your batteries then make sure that you buy ones with integral heating. If heating is required, those batteries use the charger supply, and not the batteries, to provide the heat.

Depends on the BMS and your anticipated draw. Two batteries in parallel will often (usually) have a higher discharge limit than a single large battery.
However, that means that you have to view (via the bluetooth app) the batteries’ status/health separately; this is not necessary with a single battery.
