Liner

Well it’s one of those questions without a real answer I think, taking MORELO as an example they make a Palace at under 7500kg some people might and do call them Liners but MORELO don’t, they then make a Palace Liner which is a truck chassis and over 7500kg this all works well and backs up the truck chassis argument until you look at the Loft which is available on the daily chassis at under 7500kg then they make a Loft Liner on Eurocargo truck chassis but you can have it under 7500kg if you have the 4 cylinder motor.

So in conclusion it a van somewhere around 7500kg ca be called a Liner if you want to big it up.

I think none of the manufacturers who classify any of their models as 'Liners' build them on anything but a truck chassis.
Actually Geoff there are a few on Coach chassis . Nice clouliner with 320hp underfloor anyone ? Might be a squeeze in Lidl carpark......

I think Morelo are right Martin, even though its basically the same body ( and a very nice body at that) that's the distinction for me and there does need to be a distinction because attributes of the chassis and driveline ( and the cost) are very different. I would say it's the same for Concorde who when they put the Liner body on a Daily Chassis, called it a D-Liner.

Does it have to be a certain weight to call it Esmerelda or whatever😂 who really cares, it’s yours call it what you like.

We re all so different! It's very easy to cram all those things into even a Bedford rascal but wouldn't do for me. I absolutely love my clou Liner.
