Lincolnshire road sign

I live around where the video was filmed and had never really looked at what they meant. I just thought cursorily that they were directions to nearest A&E. Every day is a school day 👍

We live in Lincs. We did know what they meant. I must admit given the flooding in Lincolnshire I am disappointed that apparently so many in the county don’t know.

Never seen them before only ever driven through Lincolnshire on the A1.
I assumed there must be an American forces base there and it was to show them where A&E was.

Although he explained it well, why do all these you tubers make the video 10 times as long as it needs to be.

These sort of signs are more common, but how many know what they mean!

I have seen them but didn't know what they were for. Fortunately I now live in the Wolds. If where I am floods we are all up the creek.

For construction vehicles going to a new site?
Otherwise not a clue.
They are to mark common diversion routes.
Used where if, for example, the M6 is closed over a certain section, you will be instructed to follow the circle, or whatever, signs until you get back on the M6.
It means they just have to put one sign up at the start and the others are already in place.

YouTube rewards longer content better.
