Looking for a good stop over on way to annecy, but complicated by timings as have to pick daughter up from Eurostar Lille at 11 am. Ideally want to get as far south as possible so can arrive at annecy campsite early afternoon.
Discovered lac du der at Easter (but only after booking in campsite) and quite fancy that, but seems to be 3 aires there, - which one to go for and any problems with a mid afternoon arrival, I know aires get busy at this time of year.
Froncles also seems good on reading.
Have french passion as well, - perhaps Dijon area?
Should add will have 2 young adults ( children really in mind) with us for this leg so ideally looking for stopover we can either go out to supper ( have bikes) or BBQ/ spread outside as will be a wee bit cramped in the m/home
Looking forward to funster recommendations
